Sultan Sharif Ali Secondary School (SMSSA) in Kg Salambigar held a prize and certificate presentations for its top students for the year 2011 recently, at the school's Salambigar Hall.
A total of 59 students successfully passed their Brunei-Cambridge GCE 'O' Level exams with flying colours. Manmit Singh Jasbeer Singh, one of the SMSSA students, obtained 10 'O's with 3A*, 3A and 4B, while 22 students obtained 9 'O's, 17 students earned 8 'O's and 19 students obtained 7 'O's.
The ceremony also saw 10 outstanding students receiving the 'Student Progress Examination' (SPE) 2011 award and six students receiving their certificates for best attendance.
Present as guest of honour at the event was Pg Hj Zahri bin Pg Hj Ahmad, the Acting Assistant Director (Administration) of Schools at the Ministry of Education.
