The Committee for the Islamic Department of Sultan Sharif Ali Secondary School, Kampong Salambigar celebrated Prophet Muhammad's (pbuh) birthday at the school multi-purpose hall yesterday.
The event began with a recital of the surah al-fatihah led by Salwaddien Iskandar Putra bin Abu Bakar followed by a lecture from Dayang Sharifah Khadijah binti Hussein Al-Kaff of Sultan Saiful Rijal Technical College.
A nasyid presentation entitled 'Birth of the Prophet' from the school 'Nasyid' Club was also presented during the event. The celebration later concluded with a 'dikir maulud'.
