Bandar Seri Begawan - A total of 101 pupils of Pengiran Muda Abdul Malik Religious School (SUPMAM) in Kampong Bengkurong, Masin recently received their certifcates when they successfully completed their Class VI at the school as well as prizes for outsanding students during the academic years of 2009 and 2010 at the `Bilik Ibadah' of the school.
Sixty-five pupils received their certificates of completion in 2009 while another 45 outstanding students from the 2010 academic year received their prizes.
Three pupils were also feted when they were enrolled to study at the Arabic Preparation School.
The guest of honour was Ustaz Haji Sufri bin Amit @ Othman; Religious School Inspectorate for Brunei III, the Department of Islamic Studies at the Ministry of Religious Affairs -who later presented the certificates and prizes.
The ceremony also saw the presentation of special awards to Dayang Nurul Aqidah Nadiah bte Hj Norsham and Mohd Aiman Hafizul Irfan bin Hj Ibrahim.
The ceremony was blessed with a doa read by Ustaz Awangku Jaya Shah Khalid bin Pengiran Haji Zain.
Also present were the Headmaster Ustaz Haji Sabtu bin Ta'ai and the school teachers.
