Walkathon and cleaning campaign at 'Alangan' Muslim Cemetery are part of the activities that will be conducted by respective Village Consultative Councils (MPK) this year. The first meeting of 2012 for the Consultative Council Committee was held at the residence of the Head of Kampong Tamoi Tengah and Tamoi Ujong, who is also the chairman of the council, Awang Tarip Haji Asgar. Prior to the meeting, Penghulu Mukim Tamoi, Pengarah Haji Mokti bin Mat Salleh, spoke and encouraged the committee members to be actively involved in all the activities to be organised and also congratulated the 'Generasi Anak Mukim Tamoi' (GAMTA) rower group for winning the Regatta Competition Brunei Darussalam. Mukim Tamoi rowers have always been known to be experienced paddlers for a very long time. |
