Cluster II school counsellors hosted the second 'Perkampungan Menteroh' (Mental and Spiritual Energy) of the Healthy Youth Brigade (BRS) at Kampong Perpindahan Mentiri Mosque.
The guest of honour at the event was Pengiran Haji Aliuddin bin Pengiran Haji Damit, Village Head of Area 1, the National Housing Scheme, Kampong Mentiri.
The event began with a welcoming speech from the Chairman of the Council, Cikgu Haji Halim bin Abdullah.
According to the guest of honour, the programme was aimed at assisting the students in changing their attitudes to be more in tune with the country's philosophy of Malay Islamic Monarchy or MIB.
During the event, the guest of honour planted a sapling to mark the opening of the village camp (perkampungan), as well as cleanliness campaign around the mosque's compound, followed by an 'ice breaking' activity, workshops, bertahlil and yaasiin recital, as well as religious lectures and Dikir Maulud.
The programme was participated by 70 members of BRS comprising students from PIHM Secondary School, Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Secondary School, Sultan Sharif Ali Secondary School, Sayyidina Abu Bakar Secondary School, PAP Hajah Masna Secondary School, Berakas Secondary School and Lambak Kiri Secondary School.
Also present at the ceremony were principals of Cluster II secondary schools, counsellors, assistant counsellors, school volunteers and committee members of Kampong Perpindahan Mentiri takmir mosque, as well as the youths of the mosque
