Sungai Hanching Mosque youths attend motivational camp

The Mosque Youth Committee (KBM) has organised a motivational camp for students during their first-term school holiday as a way to provide them with healthy activities and to steer them away from negative influences.

The motivational camp, which will run for three days and two nights, is being participated by 30 youths, carries the theme 'Striving Towards Discipline', and is taking place at the Kg Sungai Hanching Mosque.

Various activities have been organised for the camp, which include halaqah Al-Quran, early morning lectures, motivational talks, and fun activities.

Youngsters are taking part in activities at the mosque compound such as 'fishing bottles' and a fruit-eating competition.

Participants are divided into four groups according to the names of the Islamic caliphate, Sayyidina Abu Bakar as-Siddiq, Sayyidina Omar al-Khattab, Sayyidina Uthman bin 'Affan and Sayyidina 'Ali bin Abi Talib.
