Eighteen committee members of Kampong Masjid Lama, Pekan Muara, Sabun and Pelumpong Consultative Council (MPK) visited two primary schools in Muara. They were led by chairman and village head, Pg Hj Muhammed bin Pg Hj Othman. The schools visited were Sultan Umar Ali Saifuddin Primary School (SRSUAS) and Royal Brunei Navy Primary School (SRTLDB).
At SRSUAS, the delegation was welcomed by headmistress Hjh Minah bte Damit and the school community. The group witnessed an aerobic session followed by a prize presentation to the winners of the school's science quiz by Pg Hj Muhammed.
The delegation was then given a briefing by the headmistress and Suhaimi bin Hj Ladis. The visitors were entertained by gulingtangan and choir performances by the school's students. In conjunction with the visit, SRSUAS radio interviewed Pg Hj Muhammed.
At SRTLDB, the delegation visited classrooms and was also given a briefing.
